Yes, well - the prices are actually reasonable in the rustic brewery, but unfortunately it's a shame that the food comes in a bag. Except maybe the dumplings. Even the cola comes out of the bag. That would actually be all acceptable if the criticism is dealt with accordingly. I ordered an Afri Cola and it tasted stale and that was because of the lack of carbon dioxide. When I asked the waiter, I got the answer: That can't be the case - the cola is freshly mixed from syrup and water. It can't be stale. But if you don't add carbon dioxide, it still does. When he remarked that the sauerbraten would have been dry, the head waiter said that it couldn't be, but explained that the meat was very low in fat and that the roast was therefore dry. It's a shame that you deny everything and can't just agree with the guest. You can do it like that, but it's k ****! ☺️

We tried to order food for 20 minutes, then the waiter came and yelled at us how rude you can be. Is it outrageous to at least want to order after 20 minutes? Very unprofessional, there were 3 other waiters and didn't do anything.

My personal favorite brewery in Düsseldorf. The old tastes good and the dishes are fresh, hot and simply delicious. A visit is worthwhile, even if it is often associated with a short waiting time. The large number of visitors results from the good service and the good food 😉

Best Altbier in Düsseldorf and the best food of the breweries by far. Fast service as expected.

I wanted to reserve a table for tomorrow by telephone today and the employee on the phone was unable to write down my name and the time. He said just do it online. When I asked him if he could write this down briefly, the employee was also cheeky. Service 0 points, customer friendliness 0 points, can't recommend this store to anyone because the employees don't care about the customers. I would like to give 0 stars. Then I called the Golden Kessel very friendly and courteous and it was not a problem. This is how it has to go, Luschen make him out Füchschen😂😂😂

I have been to Füchschen with friends many times and have never been disappointed. That was also the reason why we with 11 people (bowling club) ordered a table on 5.9.20. Arrived on time we waited 15 minutes until a waiter tried to take our order. After another half an hour he was ready to take our meal requests. After dinner we wanted a schnapps, of course not all the same. The waiter's saying why we couldn't order the same schnapps was not appropriate, but since then we have sat in front of empty glasses longer than in front of full ones. The waiter didn't need to generate sales, I know that differently. We wondered what that had to do with hospitality: nothing! When we paid (at least € 297.70) it was only worth € 2.10 tip, which was actually too much for this kind of "service". The high point was the waiter's reaction: "If everyone gave so much tip they would be filthy rich". Luckily we had the right answer "if every waiter in the restaurant were as hospitable as he was, the restaurant would be empty. A disparaging remark from the waiter rounded it off. Just a shame and sad at the same time, especially in the time of Corona you should get away with it but just looking forward to guests. Actually my rating would be insufficient to say it doesn't work that way. The food was tasty as always, so one more point and a greeting to the kitchen! Perhaps the waiter will go to the pub across the street to see how hospitality really works.

Nice service with typical charm. Good and rich food in a great atmosphere. Overall, a worthwhile visit with good value for money. I can only recommend it.

We went to Düsseldorf today to enjoy a delicious dinner in this restaurant, as we remembered our first visit here. A lady showed us our place, as this has now been arranged because of the Corona situation. Since it was very crowded, the lady thought it would be a good idea to sit down at a table that was much too small next to 3 completely strangers. (Not thinking about distance) And quickly left us again. When asked, we were finally given a new table by the waiter and were able to order our drinks, but we were skilfully ignored afterwards. After asking again, we could order the food. The waiter seemed almost overwhelmed with the rush in the restaurant, which we very much understand on a Saturday evening. But when it happens that my friend is asked for another beer, I am simply passed over with my empty glass and you no longer have the chance to reorder anything during the entire meal because the waiter is apparently too busy with the next table and If you strictly ignored you, it already reaches its limits. By the way, the beer didn't come either. In the end, everyone had a drink, a plate of food and we waited half an hour until we could pay, as the condition only had eyes for the JGA, which was celebrated at the table next to us. When you had the opportunity to ask, you were waved off. That evening was a real disappointment. The food was okay given the circumstances.

At first a bit unfriendly service, but then became friendlier. The sausage salad with fried potatoes was very good, portion size okay. Price is normal for downtown Düsseldorf.

The seats were immaculately cleaned and the chairs were particularly comfortable. The place has real potential to become my new hangout. I think my colleague and I have long since ordered the whole menu up and down. The meal was brought very quickly. Not only the nice restaurant staff was a total hit during our visit, but also the good flair.

My absolute favourite place for german cuisine. Every time guests come to visit, this is a must place to eat. For me personally ribs are the best.

One of the best local breweries in Düsseldorf. Highly recommended for good beer and some nice local dishes. In the summer possible to sit outside and enjoy the vibe of the city. The brewery's logo is a fox.

Quick service with a smile and a grunt! We stopped here on a recommendation from my friend in Dusseldorf and got a measure of Killepitsch. I think they were about €3 each and were quickly delivered. Plenty of people outside on a Sunday afternoon.

A chic place, an excellent bar, there is a menu in both English and Russian. Very atmospheric places, much nicer and more comfortable than the same Uerige. From beer there is a choice, which is usually not in other bars. You can start drinking from the very opening, but the main menu can be ordered only from lunch. In the morning, breakfast is available.

Very good local true place! We are fully recommend. 1. Tasty beer 2. Huge portion 1 portion can fit a few person. 3. For Düsseldorf is a chip place: 2 € beer; 10-17 € lunch. All was good and interesting. Thank you!

Really yummy beef ribs with baked potato and yoghurt on the sides. There is A tangy spicy sauce for tasting.

visited this place today on a recommendation by a friend.. Had been to more than 25 countries so far but never came across such an arrogant waiter .... Utterly rude behaviour started from the time we asked for menu in English ... was friendly towards all other patrons around us though ... the arrogance worsened the moment we told we are not having food ... the tone changed immediately .... the captain came to us & advised us about house rule that the patrons intended to have drinks only can do so standing at the bar or outside... couldn’t this been told in first place when we asked for a table ? .... The worst things was the said waiter scribbled our bill on the beer coster and did not even wait to let me finish my drink to collect the money & that too was arrogantly told to pay on the spot as if we were running away... Has anyone seen a waiter thumping the index finger on the table asking you to pay the money right away ? Extreme arrogance & complete lack of understanding of customer service ... Utterly disappointing !!

More food than quality but absolutely ok.

I found out about this place by its reputation on travel websites so I got two of my friends and we went to have our lunch here. We were not disappointed. In fact, its one of the best pork knuckles I had in Germany. Better than HBF and Haxenbauer in Munich. The pork knuckle was huge! However, since I'm a big eater, the portion was just nice for me. My other two friends shared another knuckle plate and a dish of ribs. The meat in the knuckle was moist and tender, flavourful and literally slides off the fork! Not a single piece of it's inside was dry or tough. A superb achievement! The star of the show was of course, the skin! I am not joking nor exaggerating when I tell you that it is so crispy, that cutting it resulted in a loud cracking noise! It is that good! If you want to try pork knuckles and give up on all other versions in Germany or probably around the world, you must try theirs. Without a single shred of doubt, the best I ever eaten! As for the beers and ribs, I am not a beer fan so I'll leave it for others to review their alcohol. Their service was also excellent and friendly. It's a self seating restaurant so just go in and find a table. Menus are available in a variety of languages. Prices are very reasonable for what you get and food is delivered promptly. High quality food in an authentic German pub. A must visit!

The pork knee is huge! Roosbife delicious but the meat with mustard sauce with they serve on Sunday is absolutely awesome combined with a alt beer!

Awesome place if you are looking for a beer and German food! Place is famous all around the city, so if you decide to visit, don't hesitate to book a table otherwise you will take place in a long queue of people who wait to have a table. We haven't booked in advance, but queue moved pretty fast. Dishes are great. Local german food. I recommend sauseges and grilled pork knee. It was fantastic. You will not have a great variety of beer to choose from, but who needs it when you have one brewed locally. Still it's a brewery. Stuff works well, but don't expect men to smile you every time they bring you an extra glass of beer. They really have a lot of visitors, no secret they fall down their feet at the end of the day. Restaurant accept cards. Even Google and Apple Pay, which is convenient. So have a great time there. All the best to stuff and many thanks.

Fantastic traditional German eatery and brewery. Food was very meaty and delicious, alt beer great and service very good. Highly recommended.

Alt is better at Schumacher. Their pils is average. Service hit and miss.

Nice place. Don't wait for attention, just find a place and sit... Good bear and good food. Try the goulash soup! When your glass is empty they just put a full one instead... Enjoy!
